What a spring cleanup includes
Leaf and debris removal
Everything winter dropped or blew in — leaves, sticks, pine cones, wrappers along the fence line — comes out of the lawn, beds, and landscape rock and leaves in the trailer.
Snow mold and thatch raking
Matted gray patches from snow mold get raked open so air and light reach the crowns and the turf can green up evenly instead of in blotches.
Cutbacks and bed clearing
Perennials, ornamental grasses, and spent annual material cut back to the right height, beds cleared to bare mulch so new growth has room.
Fresh bed edging
A hand-cut trench edge that reads crisp from the street and holds mulch where it belongs for the rest of the season.

What is included in a spring cleanup?
Leaf, stick, and winter debris removal from the lawn and all beds, a light dethatch rake on matted snow mold areas, perennial and ornamental grass cutbacks, fresh bed edging, and full haul away of the debris. Add-ons like mulch, aeration, and overseeding are quoted separately.
When should a spring cleanup be scheduled in Minnesota?
As soon as the ground firms up and the snow is gone — usually early April through mid May in Anoka, Sherburne, and Wright counties. Cleaning up before the turf breaks dormancy gives grass light and air right when it starts growing.
Do you haul the yard waste away?
Yes. Leaves, sticks, and cutback debris go into our dump trailer and leave the property the same visit. Nothing gets bagged and left at the curb.
How much does a spring yard cleanup cost?
It depends on lot size, tree count, and how much bed space there is. We walk the property and give you a flat price up front, not an open hourly meter.
Can you combine spring cleanup with mulch or aeration?
That is the most common package. Cleanup first, then bed edging and mulch, then aeration and overseeding on lawns that came out of winter thin or compacted.
Do I have to be a mowing customer?
No. One-time spring cleanups are available on their own.
