Straight answers

What people ask before they hire us.

What services does Adventure Earthworks offer?
Three categories. Hardscapes: paver and natural stone patios, segmental retaining and seat walls, firepits, walkways, steps, and drainage or grading work. Landscaping: design and master planning, tree, shrub and perennial installation, native and pollinator gardens, mulch and bed renovation, and seasonal color. Lawn care: weekly mowing, core aeration, dethatching, overseeding, lawn restoration with compost topdressing, fertilization and weed control, plus spring and fall cleanups.
Where do you work?
Ramsey, MN and the surrounding north Twin Cities metro, including Anoka, Andover, Elk River, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Champlin, Dayton, Rogers, Otsego, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Fridley, and Brooklyn Park.
Who actually does the work?
Brayden, the owner. Adventure Earthworks has been in business since 2020 and is intentionally a small operation, so the person who quotes the project is the person on site doing it. No sales rep, no subcontracted crew swap.
How do I get an estimate?
Call or text (763) 202-5755, email sales@adventureearthworks.com, or submit the form on this site. Estimates start with a walk of the property so measurements, access, drainage, and soil conditions are accounted for before a number is given.
When is the best time of year for each service in Minnesota?
Spring (April–May) is for cleanups, dethatching, mulching, and planting. Summer (June–August) is mowing, weekly maintenance, and hardscape construction. Fall (September–October) is the best window for core aeration and overseeding, plus fall cleanups. Winter is for design, quoting, and scheduling next season's builds.
How is your patio and wall work built to handle Minnesota winters?
Excavation to the depth the assembly requires, compacted Class 5 aggregate base in lifts, proper drainage behind retaining walls with washed rock and drain tile, and geogrid where wall height and soil call for it. Plant material is chosen for USDA Zone 4b so it survives its first winter.
Do you do weekly mowing or one-time cleanups?
Both. Weekly precision mowing runs on a set day through the season, and one-time visits are available for spring cleanups, fall leaf removal, aeration, dethatching, or a single overgrown-yard reset.
